Elbert County is glad to partner with Peak Vista Community Health Centers’ clinic in Kiowa to provide COVID-19 testing for symptomatic individuals 12 years of age and older. No appointment or doctor’s referral is required, and you do not need to be a Peak Vista patient. No copayments or deductibles will be collected at the time of testing. The COVID-19 test involves a swab of a patient’s nose while staying in their car. No more than two people per car. Individuals who are tested will receive a phone call with their results from a Peak Vista provider, and will be asked to stay home and avoid public places such as grocery stores until they get their results. The testing site is Peak Vista’s Health Center at Kiowa, 320 Comanche St, Kiowa, CO 80117 beginning Tuesday, May 5 between 8:00am-5:00pm. Based on test availability the routine hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. For more information, call (720) 389-9763.
