SENATE BILL 23B-001- Changes for Tax Year 2023 only

A reduction in the residential Assessment Rate from 6.675% to 6.7%

A value exemption of $55,000 for each residential classified property.

SENATE BILL 23-238 A value exemption of $30,000 for each commercial classified property. 

2023 Assessment Rates                               

Residential Assessment Rate reduced from 6.95% to 6.765% per SB23B-001 now 6.7%

Residential Multi-Family Rate reduced from  6.80% to 6.765% per SB23B-001 now 6.7%

All other Non-Residential Property reduced from 29% to 27.9%

Agricultural & Renewable Energy Property Rate No Change 26.4%

Personal Property Reduced from 29% to 27.9%

Severed Minerals 29% to 27.9%
